About Derrick Fenner
Nine-year veteran of the NFL, Derrick Fenner is in an select class of professional athlete’s making the transition from professional sports to successful entrepreneurship and philanthropy. Derrick along with his wife Christy co-founded Everfourward in 2014 with one mission and one direction, Forward. A powerful engine with no reverse gear.
Derrick paid it forward by creating the GIK Foundation a non-profit organization designed to help first time homebuyers and low to median income families realize their dream of homeownership by gifting the down payment to purchase a home. Through the GIK Foundation Derrick has helped over a Thousand families and gifted over 3 million dollars. Derrick has worked with several charitable organizations including, United Way, Special Olympics, Professional Athlete’s Outreach, and Habitat for Humanity to name a few.
Providing the Blueprint for Athletes
Derrick has taken the skills developed as a professional athlete and translated them into the business world where he specializes in motivational speaking, corporate team building, executive and organizational coaching, organizational training, and business development. Organizations of all types and sizes benefit from Derrick’s experience, winning attitude, and positive energy to help them build stronger, more successful teams.
Today, Derrick mentor’s young athlete’s as they navigate their way through the pitfalls of the NCAA and professional Sports. His experience provides the blueprint for Athletes in all sports on how to conduct themselves on and off the field.
Derrick is an avid cyclist, golfer, and sports fan. He currently resides in the Washington, DC metropolitan area with his wife Christy and their four children: Chris, Erika, DJ, and Rico.
